Draw for Colours
You may be aware that we like to be inventive when it comes to the draw for colours and Amersham is no different. So, the draw for colours will depend on the first one day international cricket match between England and West Indies on Thursday 21st May. If the England first wicket partnership score more runs than the West Indies first wicket partnership then the top seed in each section will be white in Round 1. If the West Indies first wicket partnership score the same number of runs or more than their English counterparts, then the top seed in each section will be black in Round 1.
Update
Well, we didn't reckon on the weather did we?! No matter, Belgian
football to the rescue!
There is a play off to determine the Belgian football championship
and
happily the fist leg is being played tonight between two of the
countries most famous clubs ; Anderlecht and Standard Liege.
If Anderlecht win, the top seed in each section will be white in
Round 1.
If the game is drawn, or Standard Liege win, the top seed will be
black.
The game finished
| Anderlecht | 1 - 1 | St. Liege |
|---|---|---|
| Legear (52) | Mbokani (61) |
So the top seed in each section will be Black in Round 1.
