Uxbridge International: 13-17 February 2010

Due to an unforeseen circumstances one player has had to withdraw from the Challengers.  Anyone wishing to take this one remaining place should complete a reserve list application via the online entry form now.

However, you can still play in the:-

Keith Arkell Simultaneous gives all players the chance to play (and beat!) a GrandMaster.  Keith is one of the friendliest players on the circuit and will take on up to 20 players on Friday 12th February at 7pm.  The simul is open to all players, whether playing in the International event or not.  Click here for further details and to enter.

Uxbridge Blitz will take place on Saturday evening 13th February at 9pm.  £5 entry on the night, open to all players (whether in the International event or not) and all entry fees will be returned as prize money.  Just turn up on the night to play.

Uxbridge Chess Congress: 19-21 March 2010

A 5 round weekend swiss in a great hotel venue.  For the first time the both the Open and the Major will be FIDE rated, and with an increase in the prizes all sections offer first rate prizes.

Warrington Chess Congress: 7-9 May 2010

Our first venture in the North, the Warrington chess congress utilises the same successful formula of great playing venue, cheap hotel rates and good access.  The venue is easy to get to from Liverpool and Manchester as well as from further afield and of course the Open is FIDE rated.  It’s a British Championship Qualifier and carries attractive prizes.  The Major and Minor also offer great prizes so why not come and play and see for yourself why players say these are the best tournaments in the country.

Sunningdale Chess Congress : 28-31 May 2010

A unique opportunity to play in a 7 round weekend swiss.  The Open and the Major will be FIDE rated whilst all sections offer top prize funds.

Uxbridge International : 11-15 August 2010

A further series of all play alls open to players of all standards, including two IM norm events.

Hinckley (Leicestershire) Chess Congress : 2-4 September 2010

Our first venture in the Midlands this time, the Hinckley congress will again see the successful formula of great playing venue, cheap hotel rates and good access to the venue.  The venue is easy to get to from Birmingham, Leicester, Coventry, Nottingham and Derby and is well served by the M1, M6 and M69 motorways.  The Open is FIDE rated, it’s a British Championship Qualifier and carries attractive prizes.  The Major and Minor also offer great prize structures so why not come and play in the most luxurious playing conditions on the weekend circuit.
